About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Racquet Stringer to join our team. You will handle customer racquets with care, deliver high-quality stringing jobs on schedule, and help keep our stringing workspace tidy and efficient.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming racquet frames, remove string if they are still attached and check grommets for wear, frame cracks, or damage before stringing. Replacing broken grommets when needed.
- String badminton and tennis racquets accurately to customer specifications using different types of strings.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly stringing station.
- Prioritize incoming orders to meet fast turnaround times (typically 15-25 minutes per racquet).
- Communicate clearly with shop staff regarding job status or equipment concerns.
- Notify customers for ASAP pickup orders when the racquet is strung/ready for pickup.
Skills and Experience
- Requirement: Ability of standing for long hours while doing stringing. No prior experience required, we can train you from 0. It is an advantage if you have related experience.
- Speed & Accuracy: Ability to string a racquet cleanly in 20 minutes or less with 15-20 hours of training provided.
- Passion for tennis/racquet sports and strong attention to detail with a quality mindset.
